TripAdvisor Sponsored Placements Now Offered to All

Back in April of 2018, we announced the launch of TripAdvisor’s Sponsored Placements to its partners. Well, recently TripAdvisor reported the global rollout of Sponsored Placements. This “top of search listing” advertising placement, that was once only available to its Business Advantage Program, is now available to any accommodation that shares live rates and availability with TripAdvisor.

 

So, what is new with TripAdvisor’s Sponsored Placements?

New Features

In addition to opening the opportunity for sponsored placements to all accommodations, there are a few new features to point out.

  • Properties can now target their ads by weekend or weekday stays.
  • A new “pause” functionality allows for properties to pause the campaign and schedule for a future start date.
