Open Tabs, Searching, and Platform Improvements 

In recent releases, we’ve pushed out a handful of things that we think you’ll find helpful. These were highly requested by some of you, so we wanted to make sure you are aware!  We also have some big things in the hopper, like Google Hotel Ads integration, so stay tuned this summer! 

Open Tabs 

Many properties have visitors and customers that are not overnight guests. These customers often keep an “open tab” with you for things they purchase or rent. Up until now, it’s been suboptimal to keep track of these open tabs.  

To address that we’ve introduced filtering to our Invoices section to enhance the existing search functionality. Our new pre-built filters will allow you to easily narrow down the list of invoices to only “active” invoices so you can quickly find anyone with an open tab.

Better People Search 

Common feedback when searching for people has been that there are too many results, and they don’t seem to match the search term. Our original vision for searching was to query for the requested search term in any of the available data about the person, including notes and addresses. That often made it harder to find what you were really looking for. We have simplified our basic person search to focus on and prioritize names, particularly last names, but also first names. The basic search also scans the phone number fields, so feel free to enter any phone number or partial phone number to quickly track people down! 

Of course, you can always use the Advanced People Search to search specific fields. We’ve also added Company to the Advanced People Search and to the people export! 

Platform and Performance Improvements 

Some of you have reported some slowness with some aspects of the rezStream Cloud and we hear your feedback! Thank you for keeping us honest and please keep the feedback coming!  

This is an area of focus for our development team this year as we continue to grow and evolve. With the last several releases we improved load time after signing-in and on the Occupancy Map. We are committed to making your rezStream Cloud experience great and will continue to release updates aimed at improving performance, reliability, and scalability!
