Sending your data to the Cloud
First off, thanks to everyone who has joined our RezStream Community and has either voted or added their own suggestions to the mix! Your input greatly helps us develop the Cloud reservation software based on how you'll use it in your everyday business.

As we move through Beta testing, we're now preparing for the future of the software and rolling it out to all of our clients. An important piece of any business is its data and client information, which is a main reason we're moving to the Cloud in the first place, making it easier for you to access that information at any time from any place. We don't want the data migration experience to be one that makes you run for the hills, so we've worked on making it as simple as possible.
Data migration simply means moving your data from your current software RezStream Professional (RezPro) and sending it to the new Cloud version. Much like birds migrate south for the winter, your data will be migrating north to the Cloud. Your data is safe during migration and is pulled directly from RezPro.
To make the process a seamless transition, you would upload your RezPro database to RezStream's secure servers. Once we receive your database we will convert your data into the Cloud PMS. You will then be notified by email to register your account. Utilizing your new username and password you will login to your Cloud PMS account to access your historical data. The Cloud PMS IS NOT available at this time, we're simply helping people to understand how simple this process will be.
The data migration includes everything from rooms, rates, taxes, packages, POS items, guest contact information, and guest invoice history. One piece we can't include in the migration process includes guests' credit card information for compliancy reasons.
